Zinc for Rosacea: Before & After with Bedrock Balm
Can zinc in Bedrock Balm help with rosacea?
One Bedrock customer says her husband’s skin changed dramatically after adding Bedrock Balm to his routine.
Donna shared these before-and-after photos with us after using Bedrock Balm on her husband’s rosacea. The first photo was taken on September 22. The second was taken on September 26.
That’s just four days apart.
“My husband has been using his doctors protocol for his rosacea for about 2 years and it kept getting worse. Your Bedrock Balm is nothing short of amazing. The first picture is 9/22 and the second is 9/26.”
Before Bedrock Balm

We’re sharing Donna’s experience because real customer stories are one of the best ways to understand what Bedrock Balm can do.
Bedrock Balm is not a prescription rosacea treatment, and individual results vary. But its formula was created around one ingredient we believe deserves far more attention in skincare: zinc oxide.
Why zinc oxide for rosacea?
For people with rosacea, skincare can be complicated. Zinc oxide is a mineral ingredient known for its skin-protective and soothing properties, making it a natural fit for redness. It helps create a protective layer on the skin's surface while supporting the skin barrier and helping calm redness and irritation.
And it’s why we formulated Bedrock Balm around 20% non-nano zinc oxide.
Bedrock Balm is a barrier cream with zinc
There are plenty of barrier creams on the market.
Bedrock Balm is different.
We built Bedrock around zinc oxide from the beginning, then paired it with a proprietary blend of plant-based oils and botanicals selected to create a nourishing, protective balm for dry, sensitive, red skin.
20% zinc oxide is the foundation.
Then we add ingredients including:
—Camellia Seed Oil — a lightweight, nourishing botanical oil that helps moisturize skin.
—Meadowfoam Seed Oil — a conditioning plant oil known for its silky feel and ability to help support moisture.
—Calendula Flower Extract — a botanical traditionally used in skincare formulated for dry and irritated skin.
—Rosehip Seed Oil — a nourishing plant oil rich in fatty acids.
—Jojoba Seed Oil — helps condition and moisturize the skin.
—Vitamin E — an antioxidant commonly used in skincare to help support the skin.
