Giving back began before we broke even.
Bedrock Gives Back
Giving back is part of who Bedrock is.
We create super-effective, multipurpose skincare to help calm skin—and to free you up for moments that matter most. Supporting community beyond skincare has always been part of that mission.
Giving back isn’t a side project for us—it’s built into Bedrock. As a small business based in Bend, Oregon, we see ourselves as social stewards, responsible for caring for families and the world we share.
When you purchase Bedrock, you’re supporting a company that actively donates skincare to local causes, hospitals, caregivers, and community heroes.

making a difference together
2020: We donated over $10,000 worth of Bedrock products to local hospital workers across the Puget Sound. King 5 News covered our donation story, sparking an outpouring of orders, and that same month we broke even for the first time✨ [See the full blog post and TV story here.]
2021: Over 300 Bedrock products were donated to hometown heroes nominated by our customers [photos below of Bedrock supporters spreading the joy by delivering boxes of our skincare].
2022: We invited our customers to nominate their everyday heroes—and you showed up with such compelling nomination stories. Thanks to your nominations, we donated Bedrock products. One of these donations went to Georgetown University Hospital, in gratitude for the care Wendy received during her small bowel transplant [photo].
2023: We donated Bedrock products to raise awareness in the naturopath community, helping doctors discover our effective skincare. Over $7,800 worth of product was sent to the Connecticut Naturopathic Physicians Association and California Naturopathic Doctors Association Conference.
2024: Our hometown HQ in Bend, Oregon, received donations of Bedrock products, including St. Charles Cancer Center staff, Cascade Middle School staff, and the Oregon Entrepreneurs Club. We also supported athletes by sending products to climbers at the Georgia Bouldering Competition who needed hand care.
2025: Over 500 Bedrock samples were donated to the Breast Cancer Foundation, inspired by our founder Rachel’s personal experience using Bedrock Balm after four breast cancer surgeries.
