I really wanted to love this product. I also had an experience with irritation that resolved using zinc oxide. When I saw your product online I thought it would be a perfect match for me. That being said, I sweat A LOT. Being a woman "of a certain age" it's worse than ever. After a couple hours I started to get a whiff of myself. I reapplied. After a couple more hours, the same. Rinse and repeat.
I love the scent, the earth-friendly packaging, the natural ingredients, it's just not enough for me. Also, applying after shaving my underarms was a concern, but this product is gentle and did not cause any irritation for me.
Again, I wish it was a better match for me.
I have been using freshstick zinc oxide deodorant for years.

Between perimenopause, an autoimmune thyroid disorder and climate change, the freshstick found me just in time. There was a slight shipping delay, which was very clearly communicated to me...and was because I was getting a fresh batch! This stuff is life changing. I haven't really worn deodorant often for around 10 years. These hormonal changes have led me to need to smell a little better....and I am so impressed. This is the best deodorant I've ever used. The smell is amazing. Subtle and fresh. The texture of the stick is so nice on my skin...(You don't have to stick to just the pits) I also love a good, clean, ingredient list. This has it all. I ordered Bedrock zinc based deodorant after another zinc based deodorant worked, but caused me to have a bad reaction. Clearly this was caused by some ingredient other than zinc oxide because Bedrock did not cause this problem. Let me say, this product works and I am happy.
Doesn't irritate my skin. Keeps me fresh all day.
I don't know how many years I've been using Bedrock products, but I've been hooked ever since I first tried it. The Freshstick is excellent for use on areas you're prone to getting rashes. It's gone up in price a bit over the years, but it's worth it, 100%.
