Supporting Seattle Healthcare Heroes: Bedrock Gives Back 2020

A year ago, we never imagined our skin barrier skincare would provide relief in a pandemic.

This month, Bedrock donated over ten thousand dollars worth of skincare to hospitals across the Puget Sound region of Washington, supporting healthcare heroes struggling with:

  • Painful maskne (mask-related acne)

  • Red bumps and irritation from PPE

  • Dry, over-washed hands and cracked skin

It feels incredible to give back to our local community.

Stories from Seattle Frontlines

Chris, Seattle Doctor & Bedrock Fan
Chris, a physician in Seattle, contracted COVID-19 a month before his baby girl was born. He spent three weeks in bed while his pregnant wife quarantined with their toddler. Today, he’s a proud Bedrock fan, and we’re so grateful for his bravery.

Big thanks to Erin and her emergency room crew, who’ve been using Bedrock Balm for skin irritation caused by long shifts in PPE.

Ramah in the ICU
Ramah delivered Balm to her ICU team, where staff immediately started sharing and applying it on mask-related redness.

Amy, ER Doctor
Amy wrote us after dropping Balm at her ER:

“Everyone is so appreciative. Several friends have noted overnight improvement of their maskne after just one application.”
